We're taking a trip

I apologize for the fact that there's no new creative post for today, but the Little Bear and I are traveling to the North Woods for the weekend. We'll return with pictures of our adventures and lots of stories to share.

A crash course into watercolor Last Saturday I did the craziest thing. I took a crash course in watercolor. Learning to paint (officially) with watercolors has been something that I’ve wished to do for years, but I always put it off with the idea of “some day.” I used to watercolor a lot when I was little, usually sans clothing, with my bare butt seated on the bottom step of a kitchen step-stool and my paints and paper resting on the top step. Little Bear gets pushed to the ground and I lose my...cool At school Little Bear likes to run with the fast crowd, the three-year-olds. They're coordinated and usually rambunctious, they have a decent vocabulary, and they've mastered some enviable skills like counting to twenty. She is clearly a tag-a-long, but she does a decent job of keeping up with them. Today was no exception despite Little Bear being quieter than usual.
